What’s your story?

After playing online video games together, a group of nerds at 1208 Greenwood Church asked the question, “Could we make a church like this?” They began to hold brainstorming sessions in the backroom of a Jackson Crossing storefront. 1208 Greenwood Church offered them their space to launch Nerd Church JXN and so they started ministry in the fall of 2019.

Who is your pastor?

Jamin Bradley has a bachelor’s in pastoral ministry and a master’s in theology and social justice. He’s been pastoring for over a decade, written ten books on nerdy theological topics, and recorded quite a bit of music. You can see what he’s been up to at jaminbradley.com.

What age is this church for?

While anyone can attend Nerd Church, it’s best for kids to come with an adult. We do not have any staff to look after children and our conversations are not geared toward children. It’s best for adults/guardians to be present with their younger kids to care for them.
